A Bit Worse than Romeo: Tragedy from Caprice is an inter-genre production at the MeetFactory, a non-profit contemporary arts organization in Prague. A Bit Worse than Romeo features a reinterpretation of three texts: Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, Dark Energy by Juli Zeh, and The Seducer’s Diary by Søren Kierkegaard. On foot, we followed the actors through four different rooms and art installations, watching and listening to them riff on Shakespeare, philosophy, and contemporary pop music. It was super weird, and we liked it.
