Today we embarked on our first shared writing exercise. Together, we read Gay Talese’s essay, New York is a City of Things Unnoticed. In it, Talese catalogs the seemingly mundane details of city life in New York and creates a powerful compendium of beautiful observations often overlooked. We sent our intrepid writers out in small groups to create their own catalogs of Prague’s unnoticed things. Here’s a snippit or two of what each of our students brought back.
